The Queen and her Princesses

Once there lived a beautiful queen and this queen had four angelic princesses. They lived a peaceful life. Sometimes hard because there was no king, but most of the time happy, because no matter what happened the five of them will always be together.

They were always under the eyes of those they ruled, who think they know everything and that everything they see will always be true.

The Queen has her own counsel who tell her everything she needed to know about the land of which she ruled. They tell her who’s doing this and who’s doing that, in this way the Queen knew every thing.

One day the Queen was talking to her counsel and they told her that the eldest princess was going around the land with a secret beau clasped around her arm. She didn’t believe them but the counsel insisted that what they said was true, and that even the villagers knew. The Queen was outraged that she quickly called for her daughter.

The eldest princess believed in love but inside her there was a pain that the Queen could never understand. She was lonely even though she spent all her time with her sisters. So when she met her beau, she knew she could never let go and that the Queen would never accept him.

The Queen talked to her Eldest Princess. The crying girl did not know what to do. Her mother did not trust her anymore, and she felt more alone than ever. She could never understand her daughter’s longing for someone other than them. The Queen did not know how her Eldest Princess daily contemplates the ending of her own life. She was sad, the princess was, and the Queen would not be able to see why.

Embarrassed by your friends, feel low.

Keeping quiet.

You wake up and act like everything is okay.

You go and take a bath.

You don’t look down: you don’t want to see your body.

You wipe yourself. And imagine that you’re at least pretty.

You get dressed: hoping your clothes still fit.

Put on your make up. Darker and heavier, that will do.
